Comment by Mich December 19, 2008 @ 2:29 pmMy flight attendant didn’t bother to fill me and when he stopped me from getting out of the plane, he was quick to ask me questions. Those “will you be ok?” questions. I just stopped caring. I don’t want to show him that I “need” him to tell me what just happened and encourage him to think that I am deaf and dependent. No.

Comment by sasha December 19, 2008 @ 3:17 pmMatt, I am not sure if you remember me. We attended OCD at the same time. Anyway, I absolutely LOVE your vlogs. I could watch you for hours. They are great, you are very captivating. Keep them coming
Comment by JenLee December 20, 2008 @ 1:18 amWhen I was a student at ECD, I flew back and forth so I had to encounter flight attendants like that guy twice a week so I feel your pain. I truly do.
Sadly, after years of rebellion, (refusing to ride on a cart reserved for physically challenged people, refusing to be accompanied by the ticket staff, asking for the word, “hearing impaired” to be removed off my ticket, etc) I only see little change. I recently flew to Toronto, the only improvement I saw is the word “hearing impaired” changed to “Deaf”. *sigh*
